New graduates and Associate OD’s, consider practicing in Central BC with a relocation package, a minimum guarantee and a full patient load.


We have an immediate need for a full time Optometrist(s) to join our very busy, well-established practice in Williams Lake, BC. Operating for over 20 years we have a large loyal patient base.


For this growing busy location, we are offering relocation allowance, generous vacation and a minimum guarantee.


PRACTICE/EQUIPMENT: Having served the area for over 20 years, FYidoctors – Williams Lake has a well-established patient base in a town of 10,000 people, servicing the Cariboo population of 62,000. The practice is supported by 17 staff members and is extremely well equipped with a full dispensary, an in-house lab and the latest diagnostic equipment including: Zeiss OCT, Daytona Optomap, Humphrey Visual Field, and Canon Retinal Cameras. The clinic is heavily focused on ocular disease with the nearest Ophthalmologist 3 hours away. We have 3 visiting Ophthalmologist who provide consultation and follow up appointments as well as some procedures which include but are not limited to SLT/Yag laser and some blepharoplasty surgeries.


LOCATION: Williams Lake, which is located in central British Columbia, has 4 distinct seasons, allowing for endless outdoor activities. For your convenience, the Williams Lake Airport 15 minutes away offers multiple daily flights to Vancouver, as well as many other destinations. With the most desired area to live just 7 minutes away from the clinic having list prices that are affordable, you’re bound to have a work life balance that’s the envy of your colleagues.
